Commented Cecilia Gardner, JVC’s president, CEO and general counsel, “JVC’s Legal Compliance DVD series is the natural companion to JVC’s compliance handbooks and our USA PATRIOT Act Compliance Kit (PACK) for AML program development. Jewelers have been asking JVC to develop a DVD series on a wide range of important topics and JVC has responded with two information-rich DVDs that can be purchased together or individually.
“JVC developed this DVD series in response to jewelers’ requests for up-to-the- minute legal compliance information that will be easy to access and to understand. As JVC’s president, CEO and general counsel, I present legal compliance education seminars to jewelers across the United States and represent the industry’s needs before the government agencies that govern how the industry does business. I speak to a lot of jewelers. I answer many questions from jewelers and consumers. And I explain a lot of the laws pertaining to the manufacture, sale and marketing of fine jewelry. JVC’s new DVD series addresses questions and concerns most relevant to jewelers and was filmed at a JVC seminar earlier this year.”
"GE Money is proud to sponsor JVC’s new legal compliance DVD series, said Regina Leadem, VP Sales, GE Money. Legal compliance education in the industry is critical to building consumer confidence. The content and presentation on JVC’s legal compliance and anti-money laundering DVDs can help jewelers understand and comply with the laws pertaining to their businesses.
“We value our relationship with JVC and have been a corporate sponsor for several years. GE Money shares JVC’s commitment to providing legal compliance education to all corners of the jewelry industry.“
JVC member pricing is $15 for one DVD and $25 for the two-DVD set. Pricing for non-JVC members is $20 for one DVD and $30 for the two-DVD set. To purchase JVC’s Legal Compliance and AML DVDs, and for information on JVC’s products and services, visit JVC’s Web site: www.jvclegal.org.
