JVC continues to offer qualified educational programs that meet the legal requirements of the USA PATRIOT Act. JVC’s contact services, including AML program development and independent testing of your AML program ensure that jewelry dealers are full compliant.
Comments Cecilia Gardner: “JVC has been very proactive in communicating important AML issues pertaining to the manufacture, sale and advertising of fine jewelry to the jewelry industry. The association’s newest seminar was developed to keep jewelers who are required to develop and test their AML programs up-to-date about how the IRS will conduct their examinations. In addition, the seminar includes tips on how to prepare, i.e., what records to have ready for review.
According to Marcee Feinberg, Vice President, Marketing for Lazare Kaplan International Inc. - "LKI is a long-time JVC member and supporter. We have found JVC's PATRIOT Act Compliance Kit (PACK) easy to use and understand. In addition, JVC's AML independent testing service was tailored to our specific business practices. I am looking forward to attending this seminar which is for all diamond dealers and jewelers who are responsible for developing and implementing a fully compliant AML program."
